The “B” Bus (Berkshire Regional Transit Authority)

Note: Ride the BRTA Bus for FREE with your WILLIAMS ID!

Weekday bus service (7:45am-6:45pm weekdays & Saturdays) direct to North Adams and indirectly to Pittsfield with stops at the Williamstown rotary, at the top of Spring St (Lawrence Hall & Hopkins Hall), and along Route 2. For routes, schedules & other info go to www.berkshirerta.com.

Zipcar

A car-sharing service with vehicles parked on the Williams campus. Users pay a small membership fee to join plus an hourly rate when borrowing a vehicle. To sign up or for more information, please visit the Williams Zipcar page. If you are a student employee or volunteer working with a CLiA-sponsored program, please email us for information about how to sign up for a new Zipcar account for free or link your existing account to ours.

Borrowing a College Car

A college car may be used for volunteer engagements and course-related travel. Students must obtain prior authorization to drive a college vehicle and permission of the instructor or a Center for Learning in Action staff member. Please visit the College Cars page for more information.
