Food for Thought: Brunch and Conversation About Community at Chaplain Rick’s House
Saturdays, November 19th and December 3rd
11am – 1pm (Come when you can, leave when you have to.)
Chaplain Rick Spalding’s House, 280 Syndicate Road
Learning-in-Action also means Learning-in-Reflection! Come and think out loud about your experiences ANYwhere out in the community over a simple but savory home-cooked meal in Rick’s comfortable house (a 5-minute walk from Paresky – just a few yard further down Park Street, beyond Tyler Annex).
What are you learning out there beyond the edges of campus? What’s fun? What’s hard? What bigger questions are being posed for you by your volunteering, your tutoring, your organizing, your listening? Remember: reflection is the other side of action! Share the meal and join the continuing conversation. All are welcome, but space is limited, so we request that you please RSVP via email to Rick at [email protected] so he can be sure to have enough food for everyone!
