After-School Homework Mentoring at Mt Greylock

Mt Greylock After-School Homework Mentoring
(grades 7-9)-paid position

Homework help and mentoring includes in a classroom setting monitored by a Mt Greylock middle school teacher. Sessions are either 1:1 or in small groups and can range from basic algebra and geometry to writing, notetaking and Spanish help.

Sunday Evening Homework and SAT help at Williams
(grades 9-12)-volunteer position

  • Time Commitment: 1-4 hours per week
  • Work Hours: Mon/Tues/Thurs leaving Williams at 2:00 or 2:30pm
    returning by 4:00 or 5:00pm

Private Community Tutoring at Williams
(grades 7-12 only)-$20/hr paid directly to students by families.

The Williams Center maintains a list of Williams students willing to be contacted by local families in need of private tutoring of high school tutoring.

  • Time Commitment: 1-4 hours per week
  • Work Hours: to be arranged directly between the families and Williams tutor
  • Where: On campus at Williams. Tutoring must take place in a public spot. 
  • Subject areas in most demand: physics, math and SAT and AP prep. Other subjects as well.
