The vision of the Williams in Africa Initiative, launched in 2006-2007 by Professor David Eppel was to create a set of curricular and extracurricular opportunities to encourage students to engage meaningfully with the African continent. Since then it has evolved to encompass coursework, study away, spring break trips, and Summer opportunities.
Students interested in study away opportunities in Africa should contact Director of International Education and Study Away Tina Breakell at [email protected] For any other questions, or for those interested in winter study fieldwork, one should contact CLiA Director Paula Consolini at [email protected]
