The Center for Learning in Action (CLiA) supports the development of experiential courses and modules, helping faculty design and implement them and helping students find appropriate courses and projects. We build and maintain relationships with community organizations and initiatives to help faculty get courses off the ground quickly and smoothly. CLiA support includes logistical help with scheduling and transportation.
Here we list courses involving some form of experiential learning. A complete description of each one and when it is offered is in the relevant department’s section of the College’s Course Catalog or Winter Study Program (WSP) offerings on the Registrar’s website. Contact the course instructor to obtain more detailed information about the experiential elements in the listed course. Those interested in incorporating fieldwork into courses not listed here should contact CLiA Director Paula Consolini ([email protected]). Finally, if you know of an experiential course missing from our lists, let us know!
