Students create and teach short after-school enrichment courses to local elementary students. Adventures in Learning runs for 4-5 weeks during Winter Study, with each class session meeting 4 times. BART Charter School‘s innovative afterschool program in Adams needs Williams students to tutor middle and high school students in Math or Language Arts. Tutoring takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 3:00-4:30pm or 3:00-6:00pm (total time including travel). Transportation assistance will be provided if needed, with a preference for students to have their own vehicles

These youth come from Berkshire Farm Center (BFC), a residential treatment center in Canaan, NY. The Friends of Milne Library works with library staff and the Board of Trustees to foster community awareness and support library needs. In order to help raise funds for the library, the Friends organize an annual used book sale, the proceeds of which go towards library needs.
