Entrepreneurship @ Williams

There are both curricular and extracurricular entrepreneurship learning opportunities at Williams!

Students can take a 2013 winter study course to help develop their entrepreneurial skills:

ECON 12 Turning Inspiration into a Business-Understanding the Business Plan
or
ECON 17 Social Entrepreneurship: Innovating in the Social Sector (Same as LEAD 19 and POEC 17)

They can also take advantage of extracurricular training opportunities through a new initiative, Entrepreneurship@Williams.

Entrepreneurship@Williams coordinates several student-oriented activities aimed at fostering entrepreneurship. This extracurricular program, coordinated by Jeffrey Thomas ([email protected]), offers students an outstanding opportunity to extend knowledge and skills they have acquired through Williams’ exceptional liberal arts curriculum.

Entrepreneurship@Williams held a campus-wide business plan competition in 2012 and is running a local business development startup weekend on January 12 & 13, 2013 called WILLIAMS INNOVATES: SPRING STREET .  Want more info?  Check out the attached e-flyer.  Or contact one of the organizers:  Imran Khoja ’12, Howie Xu ’13, Brent HeeringaLaurie Thomsen ’79, or Jeffrey Thomas.
